(More customer reviews)This is a 9 sq ft cork mat, or 9 sq tiles that are about 1/2 an inch thick. It does not provide much padding at all, I use it under my sons jungle gym mat, it fits perfectly. It's softer than a tile or wood floor, and will make sitting on either of these a tiny bit more comfortable, but if you're really looking for some padding this is not what you want.
