(More customer reviews)got this today to tackle the cobwebs at high ceiling joints and ledges (we have a contemporary home with some very high ceiling peaks) - I like it EXCEPT it is not as long as I was expecting and as a result doesn't reach where I need it to without a small ladder (which is what I was hoping to avoid)...I didn't read carefully and I thought it extended 14' however it claims to extend "your reach" to 14' - it is approx. 7' and a few inches - FYI; other than its height deficit, it is a great tool
