This is a decent product that does a good job cleaning the floor. It's not a miracle solution, but if you have the Hoover Hard Floor Cleaner and tile, this is the one to order. Had equally good success with the Multi-Floor formula. Good price at Amazon.

White Marble 1" Hexagon POLISHED Mosaic Tile Meshed on 12 x 12 Sheet Review

White Marble 1 Hexagon POLISHED Mosaic Tile Meshed on 12 x 12 Sheet

This Carrera hex 1-inch marble mosaic is even better in person than it looks in the photo. I was pleasantly surprised. It's pretty and the honed surface is satiny soft. I ordered a full square foot piece rather than a smaller sample so I could see the variability in the color. It was beautiful, but a little whiter than the photo. Ultimately, although I liked it, I bought pure Carrera White from a local dealer (which is actually a bit grayer) and spent about the same, although I couldn't get honed at this price. This vendor did not offer Carrera White hex. This sample appears to be more like a Carrera Arabescato. If you like Carrera Arabescato, you may love this -- the price was great and it came well packed. I had been worried about buying marble online because of the possibility of it being damaged in transit, but the one square foot piece was individually wrapped in a taped plastic envelope. If they package each piece separately for a large order, it should be undamaged, but check with the company to see how it comes. One thing is that although they fedex the sample order, you may have to pick up a larger order at some local shipping depot that they determine.

Triangle Metal Wall Tiles Review

Triangle Metal Wall Tiles

This updates my earlier review. Get Organized messed up my order again, but Amazon's Quality Assurance Department took charge after I completed the "Where's My Stuff?" inquiry. Although it took a while to complete the order (approximately 2 months), I was very pleased with the follow-up and outcome.
Product Review: The tiles look great. I had my heart set on the Brushed Aluminum as my kitchen backsplash, set up in a diamond/diagonal pattern. However, the Black tiles arrived several weeks before the Brushed Aluminum, so I eventually decided to go with the Black tiles in a square pattern. They have a high gloss finish and I was amazed at how great they looked!
As other reviews state, it is definitely best to not only use the self-adhesive tabs that come with the tiles, but to also apply construction adhesive for additional support. Trust me, I did this project last summer and the tiles in which I only used the self-adhesive tabs on have all come loose! Buy additional double-sided tape from the 99-cent store to have on hand - I added this additional tape to the center of each tile. As for the construction adhesive, I found that Red Devil Construction Adhesive was easier to squeeze out of the tube for this project. Liquid Nails Construction Adhesive became difficult to squeeze out over extended periods of time. Both items cost less than $3.00. I paid $2.49 for Red Devil at the Family Dollar Store, and Liquid Nails for $1.99 at Home Depot.
My hands were sore for weeks from having to cut some of the tiles with scissors. I cut smaller pieces to fit in narrow corners, and although they initially looked fine, they are currently looking distorted (like they've been twisted at both ends). I'm currently searching for a solution to the corner issue. Also, I should mention that some of the tiles arrived slightly damaged (bent and/or scrape marks), but there were enough undamaged tiles that it did not affect my project.
Once the Brushed Aluminum tiles arrived several weeks later, I had the "bright idea" to rip down the black tiles directly behind the stove and replace with the Brushed Aluminum in a diamond/diagonal pattern (since I had my heart set on the Brushed Aluminum for so long). Big mistake. It does not look nearly as good. For starters, the Brushed Aluminum has a dull finish, while the Black tiles really pop and give a sleek finish. In addition, setting up the diamond/diagonal pattern is far more difficult than the square pattern. However, I also used the Brush Aluminum tiles to update the look of my portable kitchen island, and it looks absolutely fabulous!
I wish that Amazon carried the other colors that these tiles come in - Chrome and Almond (Cream). I received samples of these directly from the manufacturer, and they look very nice.
The initial kitchen (Black tile) backsplash project took an entire weekend and still looks awesome. The "Behind-the-Stove Brushed Aluminum diamond pattern project" took 2 weekends, and required a lot of intricate cuts to fit. It looks okay, but it was way too time consuming. I would definitely order this product again!

Metal Wall Tiles - Square Tiles Review

Okay, so my goal in redoing my kitchen was to keep costs down... because, as anyone knows, kitchen remodeling can get expensive real easily. We want to hold off on doing a total remodel for five or so years, so keeping things inexpensive and easy was our primary goal for this time around.
After painting our cabinets (which came out great) and walls, we decided to buy these aluminum tiles for our backsplash area. We have old wallpaper there and were afraid to get into taking it all down (for fear of what we'd find underneith and the can of worms that might open up). These self-stick aluminum tiles seemed the perfect solution!
They are easy to put up. I followed some of the other reviews here and used a bit of construction adhesive in addition to the included two-sided tape. I put the 4 included adhesives in the corners, plus one additional one in the center (I bought extra-strong, double-sided tape from home depot) and then just a couple of dabs of construction adhesive. Maybe overkill, since even with the double-sided tape they seemed to secure fairly well, but I don't want to worry about these things falling off the wall and figured they could use all the help they could get going up over old wallpaper.
These are real aluminum, NOT vinyl that looks like aluminum.... BUT they ARE easy to cut with scissors, just as advertised. You'll want to be careful because the edges can be a bit sharp. I had no problem cutting edges and around outlets. You'll also want to use some extra double-sided tape in the center (the thick stuff) so you don't end up with "dents" or "bends", even if you decide not to use construction adhesive.
If you hang them like the picture (in a diamond pattern, not square) you'll want to buy the triangles too. I decided to save myself the extra money and work and hang them square.
My ONLY criticism is with edges and corners that are difficult to line up. We live in an older house and our corners and wall edges are no longer perfect. There was no way to get the tiles completely square to the cabinets while still being square to the wall corners. In other words, we have some gaps. I decided to make the tiles square to the cabinets so in the corners of the room the tiles just don't line up properly. I did the best I could... Also, where you might have an exposed edge (where you have to cut a tile, but that cut isn't facing a corner or cabinet edge) that exposed edge of the tile is a bit awkward. It's hard to explain, but I'm sure other buyers know what I mean. It would be nice if there was matching molding and trim you could buy to hide edge-cuts and misaligned corners. I'm heading over to Home Depot tomorrow to see what I can find myself.
Overall, I'd buy them again in a heartbeat. Cheap. Easy! and Looks Great!
