(More customer reviews)the speaker stands are ok, they look fine once they are assembled however a bit of caution should be given when considering these for purchase, the base is wide enough to support various sized speakers. the platform you put your speakers on is NOT very big, the screw holes on the top platform where the speaker sits is also not recessed and applying sufficient pressure on the screw to recess is will likely cause the screw to strip out and be useless.(happened on mine) I ended up going to home depot and purchasing rubber feet and putting them on the base, very low profile ones mind you, to clear the screw so I don't mess up the bottom of my speakers. the featured speaker cable housing that allows you to hide the speaker cable is a joke unless you have very poor wiring anything above 16 gauge will likely not fit and ever if it did, the plastic stick on panels that cover it are tacky. the hole in the base for the speaker wire is adequate in size, but the one on the platform is not, I use 12awg it would not fit through the hole in the base..not that it mattered, my speakers took the entire small base and running the wire through the hole would have been pointless anyhow.
all in all these are just ok, not impressive, and not well thought out, they seem sturdy enough once setup.
