(More customer reviews)I would have given a 1 star review, but these coasters can still be used for hot beverages. Do not use with a cold drink where the glass "sweats" as the glaze over the picture prevents moisture from being absorbed. It also causes the coaster to stick to the bottom of the glass, until it reaches the halfway point to your mouth and then it crashes to the floor. I found another Mfg. that has nice coasters made of sandstone and a technique that allows beauty and absorption.
