(More customer reviews)Sandstone is great, but living in Florida means LOTS of condensation. The etched versions, like this Kokopeli design, provide far more surface area to absorb (and then quickly evaporate) the moisture, so you never get runoff even with frosted mugs. We've had these for a number of years. They never stop absorbing and the natural background mean that stains or weathering just make them look better than new.
