I bought this cart for my relatively small kitchen. It offers a good deal of storage and a very nice marble top. The aesthetic quality is versatile enough to fit in with various kitchen colors and arrangements. The wood is a nice deep brown and the marble is very even and smooth. The lower shelves will hold a moderate amount of weight, but no more than a few items (my recommendation). I have heavy cast iron cookware and am reluctant to put a single piece on these shelves. It would reduce cart manueverability and could possibly threaten to overload the shelf. The wine rack looks sturdy, but I would be somewhat hesitant to fill it up with wine. This is due to the somewhat instable construction of this particular section of the cart. The drawer, for instance, is a bit stiff going in and out, and it has a bit of wobble to it.
Here are a few setbacks or weakness in construction I noticed while putting this item together. First, the marble top is secured into the cart by screws. Some of these screws (about two) were stripped upon their arrival. However, the sheer weight of the top will ensure that it won't be troublesome, once assembled. The drawer, as mentioned, was insecure, this was mostly due to another screw, which was stripped when it arrived. However, once screwed in lightly, it functions well enough. The bottom shelves are mounted into the legs. The problem is that it is diffiicult to get even distribution in the v-shaped slots of each leg. There are brackets to secure the bottom shelf but not the first one. The manufacturer should have strived to make the shelves slightly bigger so that they would fit all the way into the leg v-shaped cut outs. The wine rack screws into the pieces of wood that hold the shelf and might produce strain on these thin pieces of wood, if they are loaded fully. I doubt I will attempt this. Additionally, one central piece of wood underneath the marble arrived slightly defective. It had a naturally occuring thin slice of wood missing. While I doubt it will prove to undermine the stability, it didn't make me too happy.
Other than these minor setbacks the cart is performing as expected. The wheels are very smooth and the whole cart glides around with ease. The height is great for working, not too low or too high, just right. Overall it's an excellent cart in its price range and one of the best looking. I would recommend it on the condition that the buyer inspect it before deciding whether to keep it or return it for a replacement (defects and damage happen).
The seller proved to be competent and shipped the item to me in a reasonable amount of time. They provided a tracking number and assurance that their product was good.
